Skywriter is the least essential track here for me. Track really doesn't offer anything new or interesting aside from the guest vocals.

Such a beautiful track tho! Also the the background “Just a deadweight” crushes me

okay first song is fucking incredible...got shivers during the girl's spoken part.

And the best lyrics of possibly any song here.

"And though I never belonged on this pebble where I stand, heaven knows what I...heaven knows what I am."
One of my favorite lines

this is definitely pretty and I guess I need to dive deeper into the lyrics, but aside from Strange Flower, few moments are rising above just "pretty"

This is growing on me with each listen. Too early for a rating but prob a solid 4.

'this pebble where I stand' - comes across laughable, at least written down

yeah sure if you take it at literal face value and imagine a man standing on a pebble it's pretty silly

Lol thanks Doof, that line is destroyed for me from now on.

Is it just me or is this really same-y?

I feel very torn on this album after a few listens. Part of me thinks it is very impressive, objectively. But at the same time I cannot help finding some of it a bit too boring. And I'm not convinced by the vocals. I'm hanging in there and hoping this all clicks into place for me, but it hasn't happened yet.

you guys are killing me with the supposedly good pop records. this was pretty bad. very cheesy, tries too hard to be stylish and fails badly. perhaps I'm getting too old.
