Okay, so Algorithm, The Dark Side, Pressure, Blockades and The Void are all bad songs that warrant this a 1. Y'all love to hate Muse lol. This is miles better than Drones or The 2nd Law.

Both brostep songs on The 2nd Law are actually some of my fav songs on the album, in fact Unsustainable is my favorite on it... I just find this one a much more satisfying listen

So, if all those songs are not "utter wank" according to you, then why do you grant it a 1.5? Literally the only song I think is bad is Get Up And Fight. And I don't even think it's that bad, it's just a cheesy, typical Muse affair that's not supposed to be taken seriously. They are completely self-aware lol.



Ok, let's talk about the other songs: Propaganda is a fun song that reminds me of Prince, the guitar/bass work is pretty good. Break it to Me is pretty much a Black Holes and Revelations kind of song with new pop sensibilities and some experimentation with the Kaoss pad. Something Human is a completely innofensive ballad with a cool chorus. Thought Contagion has a pretty sweet bass line and cool riffs, although is a little bit repetitive. Dig Down is a Madness type of affair, and I love Madness.



There ya go, maybe it's not a 4.5 (I gave it because i'm biased towards Muse, objectively i'd give it a 3.5-4), but it's not a 1 by any means.
