Nah, the premise of Kamikaze was so lame af. If Underoath make another album I don't want to hear about Erase Me, I just want a new album with some guitars and Underoath being the primary songwriters of good music. Not halfassing an album with other songwriters doing a lot of work and then destroying the guitar parts.

Cash grabs aren’t always bad tho. Zao released two albums back to back soley because they wanted to make money. One of them happened to be one of their best albums

Re-recording an album is more unforgivable than this album

I was talking about (Self-Titled) and Parade of Chaos. Honestly I’ve never bothered listening to the re-recording of All Else Failed, it’s basically a cover album

I think parade of chaos and all else failed were the cash grab. Not self titled. That one was recorded in a different session

A re-recording isn't inherently bad. I'd like to see Senses Fail re-record Let It Enfold You (since the original recording sounds a bit primitive especially compared to this year's masterpiece), but I feel like Buddy's new ideology would clash with the writing on that album.

ngl the re recording of all else failed was the first zao album I bought back in the day

Self-titled was in a different session but if I remember right it was pretty much made for the same reason. They just happened to still make it good rather than throwing some shit at the wall

AgebtDeathbat re-recordings aren’t bad but the case with Zao had them redoing an album when the band had a completely different lineup to make money. It was admitted by the band that it was soley for money and they regretted doing it.
