Trending schmending, no one really understands the algorithm (well actually someone probably does idk).

Yeah that's one of the many Sput phenomena.
Gmork, I was about to say this sounds like Antares era Sybreed, but that would be a stretch and I don't wanna get you too excited lol

Gonna need a lot of spins to digest this. It's a great record with a metric shitton of very different influences and styles. They pull a lot of it off, but it's on the edge of feeling disjointed. Not sure what makes Vola Vola.
Can't hear any Sybreed here btw. Not mechanical and aggressive enough.

Haha Bloc, I can kind of get that vibe after listening to the first half, the third track has some similarities.
It actually reminds me a bit of El Cielo era Dredg and maybe even Fair to Midland at times through a heavier progressive filter. Damn good so far though.
I don't really see a metric shit-ton of styles or anything here, its kind of firmly progressive rock to my ears that strays into prog-metal at times.

Haha yeah it's like a warmer and lusher Sybreed

"Not sure what makes Vola Vola."
Lush synths, djenty guitars, pretty vocal melodies.

Yeah, that sums it up pretty well. On my first listen now, it's pleasant, to say the least.

this is excellent

This is good but some of the vocals are really offputting...(openings of Still and Vertigo for instance). It sounds like he's singing entirely from his throat and though that doesn't normally affect how much I enjoy the music, it just gives off a really amateurish sound I can't get around. Some really great lyrics and compositions here though.

I found the synth in the second track really annoying when the single came out but now I kinda dig it
