Just coming in to remind you guys that the vox on Demigod are amazing and that album is best. That is all.

i dont get the hate for Bartzabel, so far its the best track imo. Wolves ov Siberia is pretty forgettable besides the climax, God = Dog is a solid track, Ecclesia Diabolica Catholica is about on the same level. not loving anything here yet, but im digging it.

what could Behemoth possibly have done to step up from The Satanist?
I dunno, Blackwater Park?

overall, this was slightly disappointing. im glad they pushed their sound further, but a lot of the riffs on here are just kinda there. also, some moments of true ferocity and ugliness would have juxtaposed with the more reigned in sound so well. still had a good time with this though.

If Crucifixion Was Not Enough is such a sick song.

Agreed Pleb. Although God = Dog is growing to be my absolute favorite.

agreed with both of you. God=Dog is def a stanfout for me but overall 2nd half of the album does it more for me than first half (but not by much). Also more surprises on 2nd half (i.e.: atmospheric break on second half of 1000 yrs was cool af and unexpected coming from them)

It's definitely a good song but I prefer the slower/more grandiose moments on here.
I.e. We Are the Next 1000 Years and Havohej Pantocrator.

This album is so predictable & bland compared to The Satanist, the production appears to be holding it back as well, feels like it should sound huge but has nowhere near the impact desired. The children chanting (yes it only happens twice, but still) & cringe-worthy lyrics definitely don't help matters.
