Canary Yellow is incredible

That Mol record annihilates this.
|

the mol record is decent but completely derivative. i'd rather listen to boundary-pushers like deafheaven

That mol record is basic. this ain't all that either though
|
| |
"boundary-pushers" lmao
|
| |
The back half of Jord is hardly derivative. Some of the best post black metal I have heard in a long time...until the new Lantlos of course.

I've never even been that big of a Deafheaven fan except for this album but yeah I'm sorry I think that Mol album is ridiculously boring and generic. Probably just not for me!

I may give this a shot, in spite of my better judgement

JOrD is painfully average and the production is awful.
and you guys are wild, intro track and glint are two best songs here imo. honeycomb, worthless animal, and night people are baad

Well, so far there are a few moments I enjoy here and there, but no one song that I can say the same for. Although, I do think this has better ideas than New Bermuda.

Zar gotta comepletey disagree I think Honeycomb is prob the worst here. Either worst or second worst.

Pretty average. Not Sunbather levels of insultingly unimaginative but still pretty middle of the road indie.
|
| |
Not sure how well Clarke's screams mesh with the (gorgeous) musical backing on the opener
|
| |
I dig the closer a lot, and the album ends with the sound of wind, you gotta respect that.
