I think *quickly checks Wikipedia* Tim Feerick is the most talented member of the band.

"IG has a 2.5 on rym only because the melon head gave it a 1 and users of rym let him dictate their taste in music for them"

He's one of those reviewers that has been shown to have incredibly asinine musical taste over time.

I think Mothership is better overall, but this is still pretty solid. But like I said, IG stomps as far as Tilian DGD goes

Feerick really does slay on this. They all brought their A game.

Is this a good starting point for checking this band out?

Feerick wishes he was as good of a bassist as Jason Ellis tho, he remains their best bassist. Too bad he was only on one release

Yeah the solo bass moments on this are a great addition. Otherwise, once the whole band kicks in I think the bass sounds kinda buried.

Nobody really talks about Tim and its sad. He lays down some seriously groovy basslines here. And Friends I was partly joking, I just enjoy the band as a whole. Will’s riffs are tight and Mingus is as good as ever. My only problem is Tilian... the more I listen the more I realize he is pretty tame on this record. He sounds good but doesn’t really go out of his comfort zone.

I saw on some other thread how the trending algorithm works and it's weird as fuck lol. It's more than just thread pages and ratings I think.

Hmm, so I'm thinking this might be one of their weakest albums. Def in the lower range of the ranking. Then again, every DGD has always required a bit of growing time for me.
