I will say after playing this all weekend the two songs I initially went "meh" to are growing on me. Pro Memoria and Life Eternal aren't as "knee-jerk" these are awful as I thought when I first heard them. Faith is hard to top though, such a great track.

I dig every track here I think, the bridge on See the Light is one of the best moments. Dance Macabre doesn't do a whole lot for me but it's really catchy.

I love that Helvetesfonster starts as basically the X-Files theme.

I'm really digging this, they've definitely gone the poppier direction but the record is still filled with great riffs, heavy moments, solos, and doesn't really bastardize their sound at all.

Damn good album in my regard. I dropped my review today after giving it another listen. Much like "Eat the Elephant," this album will grow on Ghost fans for sure. I still enjoy it and my rating may change as I keep listening.

What do you mean Egarran? I was talking about the piano throughout the album being on point.

Beginning of Helv reminds me of X-Files theme.

Finally gave this a rating after like 10 listens. It may not be as good as Meliora, but its so different I don't even want to compare them. Most of these songs really grew on me, especially Pro Memoria which I didn't really like the first couple go throughs.

See The Light, Miasma, Witch Image, and Life Eternal are my standouts right now. Other than the singles...so yeah most of the album...

Plus got my vinyl in today and man oh man, the cover is so detailed. I find something different every time I look at it. Also came with a pretty big poster of the cover as well, and also got a 45 with the 2 bonus tracks on it, which I didn't expect, so that's awesome.
