I never said that album was melodic but immolation have lots of melody. go listen to "whispering death" or "a glorious epoch" theres melody

Obviously I was referring to earlier Immolation. Yeah, there's melody in later albums. I've heard both Majesty and Decay and Shadows in the Light many times, I was referring to stuff like Here in After, Close to a World Below, etc.

for similar reasons god dethroned are better than morpheus, more interesting musically.
Latest incantation release was pretty boring, the have become really monotonous lately, immolation on the other hand are still kicking it.
And early immolation is just better as well
