Chicago show… really considering copping tickets. I feel bad because I love Greg so much but seeing this get played live with Dimitri would be pretty rad.

Plus The World is… is opening and that’s tight, never heard of this No Men band but if they’re opening for Dillinger they’re prob cool.

lol people were really giving me shit when I suggested that they’d probably play a song or two off the self titled ep
like what else are they supposed to do? Tickets for their headline shows are going for like $70 and this record is like 35 mins, and I think we all know they’re not playing any Greg material.
Ngl tho that’s a really disappointing setlist. Idk why they wouldn’t just play this record. Covering Dead Kennedys with Jello is kinda cool but I feel like a bunch of bands have done that at this point

I think this setlist specifically was made for the fest and the other shows will have the full record. I'm with you tho, I'd be pretty disappointed if I made the journey to California just for this

My brother copped two tickets for their Chicago show but idk, it’s not worth it to me. 9 hour round trip, hotel, and however much I’ll spend on food and booze.
Ive probably said this before, I love this record, but it’s not the band I fell in love with. That one article where Ben called Greg a hired gun really put a bad taste in my mouth. Obv I don’t know the exact contributions but come on man, that shit is just disrespectful.

Miss Machine was my first Dillinger experience and set me up for being a fan for life too. The way Ben does Greg since the break up is super dirty. Greg helped give the band its identity in their post Calculating era

Gregg made me go OFF ,DEP cannot stamnd his voice after Miss Machine I just bounced. I get many absolutely love him and he was a fking force live no doubt and absolutely 'Gave them their identity'
Saw footage of the show and Dmitri sounds terrible and looks half arsed tbh

yep hard pass. I don’t really have an opinion on Dimitri one way or another but did not sound great in that Destros Secret video. I can’t imagine he sounded much better on more vocal heavy tracks.
If they came to my city I’d no doubt go but we’re talking like $300 bare minimum if I’m driving north.

Damn. Hate to hear that their reunion was so disappointing, especially if you compare it the quality of Botch's reunion. But yeah, will most definitely see them if they ever come to UK anyway.

If they come to the UK I'm there.
But Greg's show when I saw him was superb so good luck lads.

I wish I got to see TDEP with Greg. Those concerts looked insane. I did see him with Better Lovers and he was amazing there, so I know that I missed out even more now lol.

holy fucking shit that’s dope
I only saw them on their farewell tour, Cult Leader is kinda bland imo but they were great live. And had never heard of OBrother before the show and now I’ve been a fan for years. I can’t remember the other opener.

hmmmm i think that setlist is fine. maybe not worth the limited reunion show cost of admission but the show is prob awesome still
tbh i've heard this album at least 20-30 times prob and i still only have a real handle on the first two tracks. seeing them perform tracks from the debut ep i prob skimmed once half a decade ago is perfectly fine. not like you're going to this show to scream some choruses or something. i'd easily sub out the covers out for more of their own material though
