The vocals on this really take down a great instrumental performance. It's not terrible, I just feel like a bigger more bold vocal performance could have really helped this record.

Agree entirely. Gave this another shot, my feelings haven't budged. The problems just become more apparent over time.

Agreed. If you dig the band and the vocalist I get it, I've listened to this about three times already and man, if I was the producer in the studio I'd ask the vocalist if that was all he had in the tank. A lot of the songs vocally mesh together but the subtle intricate guitar work and drumming on this is fantastic.

I enjoyed it. The instrumental work is great, the vocals and vocal melodies put me to sleep. But hey, it may be your thing.

"Is it me or are the drums on this thing nutty." It ain't you man, their drumming is super creative and interesting. It carries the simplicity of Keep You from start to finish, regardless of how much that snare sounds like hitting a piece of carpet with a tennis ball

I am suprised that no one talks about how beautiful Forever Sound and Manila are, those tracks are definitely standouts for me, the drumming is massive.

Their drummer has always been fantastic. Watched him play a United Nations set straight into a PBTT set and he didn’t miss a fucking beat

still not really digging Blue. it's okay but it feels like it goes nowhere even though lyrically it's definitely really important to him.

Other than that, all of these are great.

Blue puts me in a trance... No idea what peoples problem is with it. Maybe it's cuz Im about to be a dad that I can relate but for real. Song is perfect as a closer to this album.
