The mixing of this record almost kills it for me, the drums are SO quiet. There's no energy in this record at all because of it. Sad I can't unnotice it cause this has its moments...

I think the drums come into focus where they're needed and when they're not they stay in the background to keep the beat. I don't think in an album like this that's so electronically driven that the drums being high in the mix is necessary.

I don't want them high in the mix, I just think they're way too low now. For me it makes the record lack energy

I was getting really distant from the aggressive post-hardcore type sound, so I'm so glad they went in a softer direction for this

saw these guys live in paris on saturday, they were amazing. easily the best time ive seen them live out of the 3 times ive seen them. the new songs were fantastic live

Yea, I saw them yesterday in Cologne and I can say the same thing. Airfield was really an emotional moment. He played the piano in a safe spot in the crowd, so there was no big distance to the audiance. Also they remixed Adieu, it was beautiful

was so pleasantly surprised when I saw them that the new songs were received super well. everyone knew the words and their entire set was brilliant



just a shame astroid bois and lower than atlantis were the openers, oh well
