Head like a haunted house has grown on me a lot and Un-reborn again and Hideaway are so groovy.

Yeah, the bass work on here is one of the best parts of the album.

Definitely a massive grower, Josh's subtle songwriting reveals itself on repeated listens.

You can't listen to a Queens record and expect to grasp it after one spin.

Like Clockwork was such a massive grower for me, it started at a 3.5 and now it's an easy 5/5

I hated this record on the first three or so listens, but it's a real grower. It's a bit top and bottom heavy; the middle section of the record is somewhat weak.

might be him, might be YOU.. idk who he is..

all i know is the riffs are flaccid and the drums suffer from erectile dysfunction.. nothing hard going on with this album..

How many songs can a dude like Homme have in him? He's been running on empty for a while, with a Herculean amount of effort he assembled enough decent material to make a worthy album in 'Clockwork' even if it was a scarily 'mature' and borderline ploddy effort for such a band as this.

I’m pretty addicted to this tbh. I’ve listened to it in full twice in a row. Everything here is pretty awesome.

Ok, now I'm between a 3.5 and a 4. Even Fortress and Villains of Circumstance, which I didn't like so much before, improved to my ears with this third listen. It's not superior to ...Like Clockwork, but I don't think it's a massive drop in quality, which was what I feared.
Maybe this'll be one of the albums I'll listen most in the rest of this year. An addictive and enjoyable work, for sure.
