"The Band:

Jimmy Page-Electric and Acoustic guitars, Pedal steel guitar, Backing vocals

Robert Plant-Lead vocals, Harmonica

John Bonham-Drums, Backing vocals

John Paul-Jones- Bass, Piano, Organ, Mellotron, Backing vocals"

The funny thing about this is, if Robert Plant is to be believed, all of the instruments and nearly all of the production was done by John Paul Jones and Plant because Page and Bonham were too drugged out to function properly. Which would make this a Jones/Plant album.

Aside from Hot Dog, which doesn't really fit, and maybe I'm Gonna Crawl, which isn't bad but doesn't light my world, this is a strong album. First one I bought by them, new in 1979, and still have the vinyl. Some people dog on Carouselambra, but I love it, and shows the band never quit expanding their sound.

Damn, hell yeah That's dope about the vinyl. I've always enjoyed this and thought it was a pretty great record that got too much hate since it's a different sound for them.
