An improvement over PH in every way, which was already great to begin with. I think this may top Crack Up as my AOTY tbh, if it even comes down to those two. While FF are undeniably more talented and it shows, I enjoy listening to this more and typically those are the kinds of albums that win out for me in year-end ties.
Whatever though, The National or someone will come along and obliterate both for all I know.
