how has no one pointed out how fucking nasty the cosmic vein is? That riffing that starts 26 second in may be my favorite moment on this thing. And that like tapping section later 2 makes me. Feel like I’m strapped to a meteor hurtling through some sort of... Cosmic vein... yeah.

Its their most basic work but nowhere near as meatheaded as Nails.

Nails and full of are both cool. But I don’t get the comparisons beyond a superficial level. I mean I guess theyre both some fast extreme metal but beyond that the aesthetics and atmospheres are totally different. Nails is totally meat headed tough guy bullshit and foh doesn't really have any of that sort of attitude.

Nails is a bit more basic imo, like more stripped down and raw then Full of Hell, not to say Full of Hell isn't extremely raw or anything.

FoH is way better than Nails, their drone/noise influence made them much more nuanced on previous records. This one is much more straightforward but it still presses all the right butttons for me

It's a pretty strong step from it. Full of Hell tries incorporating more DM here and they are simply at their strongest when they are doing more hardcore/noise rock.

wish there was more tracks like the title track on here because it is legitimately good.

the first 9 tracks of this album blow by so quick that it's hard to pay attention to any of them in the first couple listens.

Title track on here is probably my favorite song released this year.

same, it feels a little out of place when the rest of the album is pretty straightforward grind. they lost a bit of their unique identity here.

I dunno, I think the weirdness and experimentation in the last two tracks (which last as long as the whole rest of the album) really brings their sound to a complete package here. The first half is just this relentless face pounding and so is the second half but it's completely different feeling than the rest. At the cauldrons bottom is soooo good. Those drums it ends with hunhhhh

Little bit bored of grind bands doing a longer track with doom influences as the last track on an album but it still works here
