new single definitely feels...more traditional? the "shrieking vox" are definitely used less, most definitely shoved behind the instrumentation (production wise) now, but i enjoy the balance actually.
now, the song did stop its entire momentum so the vocalist could... cough? huh??? ok, odd. i think i like it. the uplifty bits are still there and theres alot more energy behind the instrumentation which makes for a more engaging listen. i like it.

new song is pretty solid but it seems kinda traditional
i dig the more melodic guitar parts in the middle, kind of reminds me of the absurdity of this album that most people seem to have misunderstood
also those shrieking vox are a hallmark of black metal just listen to the classic fleurety demo a darker shade of evil
