Whenever that album reaches Never Come Back Here, I have to do a double take, I keep forgetting it even exists. It has such a good chorus, and it's not a bad song at all, but it's so unmemorable surrounded by all the other gems.

agreed. imo the record should end at get high see mice. not that any of the songs after that one are bad but its just impossible to follow that song. even little sinking ship which is beaut just feels flat after a song so powerful.

Dude best friend is ace, plus I love the Vline lyric because I used to ride that shit daily.

Let's be honest here boys, I Ain't Safe, Rooftops, Sigourney Weaver, Get High See Mice, When I thought I was a Boy and Best Friend are god tier tracks, if you don't agree you're just wrong.

really enjoyed their soft-loud dynamic on that first album, just those little guitar melodies were really good, and their EP has some real good shit too

i actually love the skippin on laughing or pretending. no idea why, but i look forward to it whenever i put it on.

i can barely hear wil's voice sometimes, it gets lost in the music and the funny thing is that both the music and the vox are not loud enough for me so it just gets super messy, throw me in the river was much cleaner and distinctive

i listened to this on my laptop speakers, phone speakers and headphones and it's just not BANGIN like it used to, if i start singing along i'm afraid i won't even hear the original song, like it's not total shite by any means but jeff wasn't even at the top of his game on this one for me

@kascet Havn't heard any production complaints until you, but I guess I normally don't pick that stuff out. You must just be a lot pickier than me

Your ears are more finely tuned than mine, hopefully you can still enjoy this as much as everyone else seems to be :-)

I've never "gotten" these guys, but the samples sound promising. This a good place to start? Kind of reminds me of a less angry Titus Andronicus.

these guys are nothing like titus andronicus

out of their albums, you can pretty much start with any of them. the debut is my favorite but if you dig one of their albums you're gonna dig them all

debut is what got me into them but agreed they don't really have a bad starting point. I do think Sunshine and Technology is getting overlooked and needs more love :]
