Surprised that people are actually listening to Chelsea Grin. One of the worst bands ever.

That line-up looks like a really fun time though

Haven't heard the best things about Faceless live but Black Dahlia kill it

Chelsea Grin were never good, just another band cashing in on shit straightforward dxc. Then they tried to move away from it and got worse lol

Hey btw guys Disperse has their 3rd album coming out tomorrow too. I just heard it and it's unique and chill as hell. I wish it had a little more bite, but for what they are going for they really pulled it off. It's like atmospheric, ambient at points, prog indie smooth jazz lol. Not for everyone but it certainly celebrates the beauty of life that to me connects it to Aathma, if only at the most tangentially related.

It's a nice way to decompress between Aathma listens.

I really like that repeating piano motif Persefone did on this album. It's introduced at the beginning in "One of Many...", comes back for a moment at the beginning of Spirals, it's the main part of Cosmic Walkers and when it finally comes back at the epic jam ending of Stillness Is Timeless it's just like ahhhh yeaaaaaaaa.

Added a couple sentences to the end of the 3rd paragraph.

Glad to see this record is being received so positively; these guys need more recognition.

10 pages already? Wut.

I listened to Core once and it was pretty sweet. What would be your guys' ranking of their discog? I need to check out everything including this.

Lol so true. @MarsKid

I cried listening to the final song. That women's voice was so beautiful. The final track could've been longer and better though. I agree that Aathma is on the same level as Shin-Ken. I loved it.

Didn't mean to sound too confrontational but it's true, they left from Core intentionally to explore different aspects of their sound. Like I said, it's a fault in the sense that they lose fans and interest in the process while gaining more attention and fans from their newer work.

"i don't really understand what happened to this band after core"
being a metal band and following up a 4.2 successfully is a rarity
