i mean, the record's pretty consistent (a touch monotonous tbh) and that could easily change. maybe i'm goofy bc it's like classic bladee with sparkly prod but it has that whole odd roughness with the laughs and some of the synthwork. love the open prod and multi-syllable runs in westfield. predictably, the album is strongest to me when wa tries something new

totally agree. production is too homogenous same problem as D&G but in redlight it's a bit less of a hindrance. i feel like all the slow songs sound the same in terms of production. idk maybe i need to listen to it more tho

yeah in regard to that, Golden Boy really strikes me as weak, rerun material which is odd bc most people like it. same with nike. and definitely get D&G vibes from this but the material and hooks are much more memorable thank god
