Not bad at all. Clearing Skies is great. It's far from The Gallery, but a decent album for sure

finally jammed this. definitely feels like a continuation of construct, a little too strictly at that but sometimes it feels like something from we are the void too in how dark the keys can be in addition to some more aggressive riffing.

Really do not know why sputnik thinks "The Gallery" is DT's best album, for me it is the least good one, their sound back then still needed alot of tweaks. But tastes are different.

Because The Gallery was one first albums to really push the melodic death metal sound in a big way, and it's very classically oriented in it's composition. I understand some liking their modern sound and I adore it myself but it's hard to deny the quality of their early work, I also really like Skydancer and The Mind's I.

I definitely like this better than their last two, but it's not as awesome as I thought (hoped?) it was gonna be. Still a great listen.

Am I only one that finds DT's lyrics are consistently really good?

You're not the only one, Stanne writes great lyrics.

Didn't realize Björn Gelotte featured in Force of Hand. That's cool

Doubtful dude, they have some of the best, and most introspective lyrics in modern metal. Mikael Stanne seems like one of the kindest and most sincere humans ever.

Yeah Björn Gelotte played the solo in Force of Hand and what a good solo you can easily hear the In Flames "type" of solo

"I was in the center of the second row for all of DT's set."

Saw you guys up there just before DT. I meant to catch you on the way out to say Hi but we ran up to get some merch right at the end of DT's set so I missed the chance. Next time!
