It's the best thing they've done since City of Evil and the Self Titled, they finally sound inspired again.

4 tracks in and I'm not really digging Shadows on this, but the instrumentation is the best it's been since City of Evil

Gates and Brooks kill it on here tbh. Really don't like Shadows, though; sounds like his range is shrinking. Way too long as well.

Never was a fan in the first place but the vocals are just so bad and embarrassing... They totally kill all credibility the band might gain by passable musicianship.

If it wasn't for Shadows underwhelming performance on this it'd be a 4. Gates and Brooks go off on this

The band is quite tight and even interesting in parts, too bad the vocals are unbearable for me.

Shadows says they're going to release more material for this soon. At least 7 tracks.

I hope the new tracks aren't going to be unnecessarily long like most of the tracks on here are

I know Snide changed his name a while back but I forgot what it is now.

Really love when Matt channels his inner Rev during the "wake up" part in the stage. Vocal highlight for sure (and there aren't a whole lot).

I think this is decent for background whatever music, and it's essentially pleasant besides the shrill production, but I couldn't rate higher than a 3 or 3.5. I'd rather have this on than Hail to the King for sure though. Seems like a natural progression of Nightmare.
