"i get this a lot"

that's Sputnik for ya, I guess

actually I think my first JEW song (other than The Middle, which I had heard long before but didn't recognize until later) was Polaris, kind of a random entry point, but a beautiful one. And then I scourged on those albums' singles and so on

yeah man I remember when Bleed American came out with Sweetness and I was like, omg, here's my money and then Futures came out and that album was an instant 5 for me, my brother, and my mom.

Wow, I've been out of the JEW loop basically since Invented, but this is a great record. Thought they had run out of steam.

"It’s in keeping with this philosophy that Jimmy Eat World has crafted Integrity Blues, a record whose raw emotion recalls the days of Clarity and whose achingly"

Zak fact no. 12

June 2002. A dishevelled 22 year old walked through the front door at home having spent a year travelling. Emotionally and physically worse for wear through picking up scars the young man checked his older brothers CD collection due to said brother having to move back in to the family home due to a disaterous break up.

Bleed American was put on the stereo. zak imagined being 13 again and the thought crossed his mind that everything since about '97 had become turgid, defunct nonsense that said nothing.

The World Won't Listen was put on its place. The home fires burned brighter.

That 4 average means I've got to check this...

Never listened to a full Jimmeh album so the time has come.

Start with Clarity. This isn't a bad starting point, but start with either Clarity, Bleed American, or Futures.

Fair trial - I haven't spun this yet.

What can I expect Zak? - I'm predicting either Cohen's self proclaimed 'on death's door' final album or this new one from the Jimmies to be an absolute emotional devastator.

I'm not sure which one will deliver :D

Doof man if youve never jammed a jimmy before, go with clarity instead of this

I'll check 'Clarity' too, but this year I'm listening to near enough any album on the 2016 chart that settles on a 4+

If ya say so. I personally think starting with one of the trinity would give you a better appreciation of this.

Bleed american is kinda boring imo. All that keeps it at a 3.5 for me are the opener, sweetness, and a praise chorus
