This is really fuckin good. I didn't really care for Koloss, but the more organic production here works wonders.

I wasn't a fan of either of the past two albums, but I still have high expectations for this.

It's easily better than Koloss, don't know how it compares to Obzen yet. Seems a bit more consistent

"ObZen can be boring at times, t/t rips tho"

I think that was the main complaint. it was a little inconsistent but the highs were amazing.

Ivory Towers does rule, my only problem is that it CLEARLY rips off early Simple Plan

Frog: Cheers dude, I think I understand it. So you aren't changing the time sig itself but rather using tempo changes within the rhythmic pattern (riff, drum beat) in the bar to displace the overall feel.
so a bar of 4/4 could be displaced by doing 1 2 in 8th notes and using 16th notes completing the 3e & a 4 e (on phone, hopefully u get what I mean)
Always wondered, I am Colossus I have never been able to understand the drum beat of the first verse, I have a feeling Haake is playing the snare in 4/4 timing but landing on the off-beat so he would land on the '&' if you were to count 1&2&3&4&1
