Yea, and the shaky cam implies a heaviness that just isn't there at all lmao

that video could fit a metalcore song tbh

Yeah even some of the hooks in the guitar solos ripped off Plini. The guitars were mixed like ass though agreed. Overall it was okay, but it reminded me of when Christina Aguilera performed Fighter with Dave Navarro at the VMAs (I think) back in the day.

He mentioned it in an Instagram post. Think he's in the middle of sorting it out.

Boy better get paid, or hired to write the music for these tunes instead of some music industry hack.

Meh am I the only one who doesn't really hear it? Sure same key and similar soloing style or whatever, but until the last 5 secs of the solo I couldn't have told you it was supposed to sound like Handmade Cities specifically.

I'm more confused why she wanted to make a nu metal version of her song

"I'm more confused why she wanted to make a nu metal version of her song"

Maybe she's auditioning to be Issues' next vocalist?

The riff in the solo section is unmistakeable. That level of plagiarism doesn't happen accidentally. The solos aren't ripping off Plini note for note except for a couple of phrases.

I'm not much for instrumental prog-jazz-metal-whatever because it tends to blend together or overstay its welcome but this is short, sweet, and very textured and satisfying.
