When I started really getting into Talking Heads I was obsessed with 'Cities' yeah, something about it.

“ This might be the best band I haven’t fully discovered yet.”

First 6 are worth checking for sure
The last 2 have some good songs, but are mostly fails imo but that's not a controversial opinion

This might* (okay, updated *does*) contain one of the most consistent runs of infectious grooves around. I haven't quite decided where that definitively starts / finishes, because I'm currently struggling to narrow it down.
probably up there closer to RiL than I had previously considered.

Cities, Air & Heaven are maaaaaybe the standouts on further inspection but I feel bad for taking sides here. I'm liking this even more the 2nd time around (was already a 4 tho, hmm)

Fair. Nice rating.
I've decided that I "like" this more than RiL (would hesitate to call it 'better'... in fact it's marginally less consistent) but damn this is just so much fun!

and Heaven is not "fun" but it's fantastic regardless, certainly a top-tier Bowie song lol (gonna hazard a guess that someone may have said this before)

struggling with Electric Guitar and the back end tails off after Heaven generally (hard not to) but it's difficult to pick much fault otherwise
