Same. But I also liked Immortal, Psycroptic, Hate Eternal and other spergy metal bands back then too.
I only got into this sort of stuff when I used to blaze up. Most of the "post metal" bands are trash but these guys are gold.

I was one of those scene kids who was scene as fuck but hung around with the metal kids (stoners) bc for some weird reason I wanted validation from metalheads of all people. Was in the whole "shitty Australian HC scene"
