Yeah I mean, Ihsahn does have a sort of soft, whispery voice, which is maybe like Mikael in a vague sense, but i don't really think they sound that much alike. Just two dudes trying' to sound pretty. Also the vocal harmonies that Ihsahn sings are not at all like Mikael... nor for that matter are those that Einar does.
Somebody before said this was simple, which is true, in that the songs are sort of shorter and more simplistic in composition... but there's so much going on in the details, so much electronic kind of stuff and layered vocals. In a way I think it's way more... developed than, say After, even though that has much more "complex" songs.
