Agreed hard seven

if you come here expecting anything over than fun you're taking the completely wrong approach
|
| |
That's exactly what I came in expecting tho
But overall it's def more "serious" sounding than the debut which was what let me down. Def enough silly/catchy moments to warrant a few listens though
|
| |
I haven't heard it yet so can't say for sure but what you've said seems about right, judging by the singles. Less "cutesy" moments and more serious.
|
| |
I mean the first track is legit Dragonforce + Japanese girls singing (which is still a massive improvement over regular Dragonforce mind you)
|
| |
I find dragonforce nauseating but with some japanese girls it would be better

I need the guy with the Atari avatar to come back and tell me what to think about this.

I just find it amusing that this album has 11 lyricists, 8 composers, and 8 arrangers. Is album-by-committee typical of idol music?

this band was on colbert... and they were kinda good
might have to give this a shot. their debut was eh

the song they play was from their debut. I don't think this is as good but it's got some jams.
If you didn't like the more j-pop elements or weird genre mashing of the debut you might enjoy this more

right, i thought the chocolate song sounded familiar. they were still solid live surprisingly
they looked like a black metal band fronted by cartoon characters
EDIT: ya there it is

They definitely pull it off live, their live at budokon albums are good too.
Also fuck that riff in chocolate rules.

This is actually alright. When it's not being the usual cheesefest, it has some cool tracks and ideas on here.

Definitely some jams on this. I don't think it breaks any ground or anything, but I find a decent amount of the songs catchy and enjoyable.
Karate is great.

Karate is dope, yes. Sounds like an Anime OST sorta track.
Chorus is super infectious.
