ID don't slam you moron.

And it's funny you say "of their style" when their style changed with this new album. Try harder to look like you know what you're talking about.

Mid-paced brutal riff =/= a slam.

Never said it was a "crazy style change," but you pegged them into a certain type of brutal death when their last two albums are two different styles.

Yes, 95% of brutal death bands have at least one slam in the majority of their songs beginning with Suffocation, doesn't make all of them slam bands. The breakdown in that song lasted ten seconds.

ID have always leaned on the Tech side of things.

If you wanna hear the exact same blasts and slams you've heard everywhere else, it's the album for you.

You used those two words to describe the album as a whole, when maybe 4% of the album, at most, is breakdowns. Try to backpedal all you want and say you weren't labeling them as a slam band. All BDM bands have slams, it's an inherent part of the genre.

Clearly you've never heard actually generic and bad BDM, because ID are quite near the top of the heap. Not your genre, clearly.

Listen to Lacerated Evisceration - Entrail Bath and tell me again that ID are poor in the confines of the genre.

It's just so easy for dudes to say something is shit in a genre they don't even care about. Expose the fakes, I guess.

Oath is a slam classic, so a 3/5 at most. Chunks is downright awful.

Just calling it like I see it. You tried to dig at me because of an album I was digging, and now expect me to not come after you and play the same game. Tough luck.

That was an entertaining read. Only the best, here at Sputnik.

I feel like I get more of a kick reading Anthracks/OvDeath comment threads than basically anything else on this website.

"The first one was... horrible... blasting and random tempo changes, excessive bass sound and generic attempts at "old school" riffs!"

this sounds like a pretty accurate description of ghoulgotha tbh

Most slam sucks anyway, atleast 90 percent, the guttural toilet vocals are a joke and most bands sound exactly the same. old school will always reign supreme.
