For me this is far ahead of Hardwired, Metallica sounds tired and even lazy in parts these days whereas this sounds fresh and motivated. But I'm pretty much alone with this opinion anyway so nvm... Whatever rocks your boat m/

Good album not great some of it was diverse for the better while some songs sounded water down as well either way it's just doesn't hold a candle to their classic 80's stuff.
