Honestly this feels like two separate albums to me in the first place so it doesn't bother me. I see it as more of a compilation.

Second half of this album is perfectly executed. The first half has its share of excellent tracks, too. Glammer Hammer is superb.

This album's version of Nowhere is easily one of the highlights on here for me. On paper it should have been one of the weaker tracks but it really isn't. There's just so much different (and equally brilliant - compared to the original) stuff going on in this album's version, like those subtle melodies in the background during part of the song's second half. The last 3rd of this album is where it shines the brightest and Nowhere plays a big part in that.

Album gets better when they drop the "psychedelic rock" elements and get back to more typical atmospheric Ulver.

For me that's a tie between Bergtatt or Shadows, though this might be my favorite Ulver since Wars of the Roses.

Wars of the Roses is a magnifiscent album, btw. Providence is one of their best songs ever.

Wars is so underrated, still my favorite Ulver since Shadows.
