I like the dreamy vibe, but towards the end it's exhaustive. If this album had 40 minutes it would've been perfect.

I don't get it either. I've listened like 6 times and the albums never feels like it drags on.
Always seems to pass by so smoothly.

I just like how this album has a dynamic LP feel and not just an assortment of rock tunes.

Overall, I enjoy it more than Lonerism, but by time I reached 'Cause I'm A Man' I wanted a change of pace. Good record anyway.

A few of the tracks on here definitely would have been better off as B-sides. Gossip, Past Lives, and Reality in Motion add pretty much nothing to the experience. And Past Lives specifically really messes with the flow of the album.
If those three tracks weren't present, this album would be an easy 4-4.5.

Yeah true
The last song is pretty great too but it doesn't go anywhere

I like Past Life, but i agree with it messing a little the flow, Kevin could just put before New Person, Same Old Mistakes ( to show the progression of time, Past and Future ).
dunno

Did anyone read that 9.3 Pitchfork review? Some of the most misappropriated praise I've ever read. This is a much more realistic write-up. Good job.

tame impala continue their 100% success rate in making their albums sound like they were mastered by a deaf paraplegic 75 yr old
seriously, the clipping on this shit is horrific, and dave fridmann isn't even producing this time

fuck Kevin Parker and his soggy nostalgic check-my-meh-Lennon-impression, look-at-what-classic-albums-I-have-on-vinyl faux psych shit
