i do kinda enjoy this to a certain extent, i'm all for the combination of genres prurient puts together. i just feel like it often leads to inconsistent emotional impact here, as if a lot of what he is trying to portray is lost through various sections of songs seeming disjointed. for example shoulders of summer stones where i really like what is happening until about the halfway point because i feel like it never really gets anywhere intense enough for me to really connect with it, in saying that i do find enough enjoyment out of the majority of the tracks here.
