take all the crazy tremolos and weird drumming from this and make a black metal out of it, then add really screechy wails for vocals that that's it. It's really not that big of a jump, stylistically.

check out the track 'Harmonia'. The way the band will be playing a basic bm rhythm then do a 'burst beat' where the tremolo melodies and the drums suddenly speed up for a little bit are really cool. And the melodic playing comes together nicely in like mini-crescendos. It's like Yellow Eyes but shinier and a bit weirder.
