Simon check the song May Your Void Become as Deep as My Hate and judge off of that. Honestly one of my fav bm songs ever.

or The Prison of mirrors heh

Album Rating: 4.5
yea, Prison of Mirrors is one of the best depressive bm songs ever. Xasthur's problem is that most of his stuff sounds just too similar, but he wrote some awesome riffs and melodies. his album Nocturnal Poisoning rules pretty hard.

This album is super rad but Leviathan in general is underrated.

Leviathan is one of my fav bm bands. Nothing he's done is below a 4 for me.

Thinking that Massive Conspiracy is the best but I like Tentacles quite a bit too

Xasthur's main problem is that eighty percent of his records suck
|
| |
nah the first few are pretty good, he just never produced anything remarkable enough to keep people coming back for more

We need a second one man metal with paysage d hiver, the ruins of beverast and coldworld.

Ummm maybe some Spectral Lore and Mare Cognitum too??

There's so many to choose from they could make a whole series out of it

even again with the same bands as well to see how they are now.

Yeah dude from Xasthur is something else. That part where he just starts clapping or w/e while the guy is talking to him was a straight wtf moment

"KIIIIIIIIIIIIIILLLL"
"Thank you."
|

It's kind of odd how he goes out dressed like a white rapper, did not expect that at all

yeah wtf was that haha.

Contrarily to most, I actually found that Russell (Striborg) seemed like the most approachable of the three. Seems to have a much clearer demarcation between his artist life and personal life which is (arguably) worse for the art but makes him seem more in tune with the world as well

Idk honestly I think Jeff seems pretty cool hahaha.
|
| |
He seems cool enough but I don't feel like we'd relate or connect on much.
Striborg guy seems more down to earth especially due to the fact that he manages to be a husband/dad and keep that separate from his artistic side.
