no clue. from the moment i heard kunta, momma, the blacker the berry, & institutionalized i knew this was a classic. especially for the fact that it was released in this day in age.

I think it's the fact that there has been a lot of anticipation for this record and many people are just lining up on the hype train to be the first to fit in and praise the new record.

I don't give a shit what rating others give, but I've personally never ever rated anything 5/5 after listening to it only once.

Haven't heard it yet but if the songs are good enough that he can cut the one he performed on Colbert then I'm fuckin' hyped.

Also this reviewer is lying to himself if he's saying he didn't make this with the aim of being the first up, rofl.
