I've got the 5.1 deluxe edition of Downward Spiral.
In me bachelor days I had a surround sound system that rattled teeth. Stuck it on and it melted me face but I think I only spun it twice.

I want to get a surround sound system because I have all these 5.1 mixes that I can't appreciate but not sure what to get and how I'll set it up.

The setup is simple as dude.
In terms of what a good system is I wouldn't no where to turn to now. I bought a Sony one after Which? or some such mag banged on about it. It was quality. Died a few years ago and I haven't reinvested.

I got one of those T-amps for £25 and it sounds better than my old marantz amp which was sposed to be audiophile.

It still sounds a lot like Steven Wilson, I've been told that this album had a totally different sound from his other works but it doesn't like that to me
His old style is awesome too, though
