you know the plane scene in fight club? where tyler asks jack if he thinks he's clever? literally every time i listen to ajj I end up feeling like tyler in that situation.

and the last two tracks on this, jeff dips into ajj-like lyrics that really irk the shit out of me

if we're talking lyrics as poetry i think Darkness Records has the best writing on the album

don't agree about the "garbage" line on The Lows; i reckon it represents Jeff's titular "lows" pretty well and in a complete no-bullshit way.

tumblr is kinda gross and overwhelming, it's like a tightly packed and smelly convention for the worst of everything/everyone

at least in my experience

The production on the record is pretty slick throughout the whole thing other than that ending for some reason. I mean that ending is so reminiscent of Sunny Place/Shady People but it ends up sounding really rough

That stretch from Get Old Forever to Hey Allison has been on straight repeat for me, with me just starting to love the second half. Honestly this is the first time I've heard of this guy but already infatuated with his sound, any recommendations for wanting to start off with Bomb the Music Industry?

start with Album Minus Band and go chronologically

of course there's other ways of getting into Bomb but i'm sure everyone will agree that their evolution as a band was pretty amazing, so it'd be ideal to try and recreate that experience

oh yeah after about two weeks of being unsure about this album i can finally honestly say that this is absolutely wonderful
