Why did that picture of poop look like it had finger holes in it?

This thread is now on topic. *ahem*

Great album, I think "Summerholidays vs. Punkroutine" may be my favorite, but all these songs are

seriously amazing.

Anyone else hypnotized when they hear "The Apollo Program Was a Hoax"?

Quoting myself.

I love the intro of this song.

Without records like this one and stuff Botch released back then, the music scene we know and love wouldn't exist.

Interesting how the most celebrated hardcore (I use the word in the most generic sense) bands are the most musically difficult. Refused had tones of jazz influence in their most celebrated album, and Botch is one of the most rhythmically challenging bands ever. That's what I think, anywho.

@Avirov

I think that's the reason they became such huge influences. People are still trying to tap the kind of

sound they made, and still make it more "mainstream" so to speak.

The most influential bands are always musically "difficult". Velvet Underground, Fugazi and Cap n'

Jazz as a few more examples.

The Beatles are incredibly difficult

It's easy to ironize the Beatles musicianship right now, but the things they were doing at the time were groundbreaking.

And even now, I would consider the Beatles musicianship as one of the most difficult ones to tap it.

I never said difficult = difficult to get into. It's just that their compositions are ingenious in one way or another. Beatles and Botch were instant loves for me, Refused just a bit harder.

I loved Refused from the moment MTVTwo played New Noise on the MCR takeover...
