This might be my favourite electronic/pop rock album, it's not a genre I usually listen to but love this, wish they'd come back to this sound in the future.
They have a new song with Stand Atlantic which is great and got me coming back to this

Production on the rerecording is a bit weird imo, and the amount of over the top vocal layering is a little ridiculous.
That being said, it was nice to hear something like this from Lynn again.

Yeah, I suspect Lynn was overcompensating for her vox being less powerful by comparison to those from 10 years ago - she's been marred with vocal issues for years.
It's too much studio wizardry, it just doesn't sound right.

I'm actually a little surprised this wasn't a full blown PVRIS & Spiritbox collab, it would have been really interesting to hear some of the instrumental elements of Spiritbox fused with 'White Noise'-era PVRIS - especially considering the fact that apparently Courtney is a massive fan of the album.
