this album hits me hard...although admittedly has some filler...also has more guitar on front than the iconic organ, as in the debut...I dig somewhat more the vibe in here, but the debut feels more complete...I could agree with that 67 comment...but one of them is a true classic.

As things stand I agree, but this was less familiar to me, so I could see there being more potential for growth/eventually overtaking the s/t. One thing I’m absolutely sure of is ‘67 Doors > ‘70-71 Doors.

I listened to L.A. too many times...need to reevaluate on this binge tho (from a cold Demonic perspective)...don't remember to ever have listened to Motel tho.
anyway...realizing that 6 albums in 4 years is quite a deal, I guess some filler is acceptable...

I don’t know about you, but I don’t take that into consideration (how prolific artists are) when evaluating consistency. Having said that there’s virtually no fat on this or the s/t to my ears.
