I remember Vertigo having more energy, but hearing it again, it's polished to the point of sterilization.

I almost want to do a U2 discog run, but I really don't want it to be because this album came out. So... Confliction.

Maybe we shouldn't have to do that, Arcade. Because honestly, we're the consumer, and Apple should be sucking our dick to
stay with them, and certainly shouldn't be doing things that people explicitly don't want them to do when it doesn't even benefit
their company. Y'nah mean?

Maybe you should just delete the album from your player and stop complaining about it

It's not that big of a deal to me. Really it's not. But when company's do stupid shit and people defend them, it bothers me.

Well I like U2 so I have absolutely no problem with what they did and so therefore I don't see why I shouldn't defend it

Or rather I should say defend the corporation over the people complaining. I'm a counterculture kind of guy, I suppose. I don't
even care about the fact that this is on my playlist anymore. I just think it's dumb to imply that people don't have a right to
complain about what Apple does when they are paying to use their services, that's all.

Because it's sneaky, slippery shit to slide stuff into terms and conditions that they know no one reads, and a respectable company should not do that. And as a consumer, they shouldn't expect us to deal with it. I never said shit about civil liberties, dude.

Well, yeah man. That's literally all I'm saying. I think Apple deserves to lose customers for doing things like this. So... Do we agree now?

Invasion of privacy sucks doesn't it? The ability to consent to an action has been proven to be seriously important to some people (and rightfully so).

And meanwhile the internet rejoices at leaked JLaw nudes.

I really don't think I'm saying anything outrageous, but I apologize if I derailed this thriving thread.

On the real though, sorry if I did.
