Shame on me for settling for mediocrity. Royal Blood does jam, but it's nothing that The Black Keys, QOTSA, Arctic Monkeys haven't already done, and done way better.

This is really disappointing after seeing comparisons made to TWS and QotSA. Pretty bland riffs and the drums drive pre hard, but still nothing too interesting.

Yeah, I just finished listening all the way through. The second half definitely picks up the slack. From the first track until "You Can Be So Cruel" is like a 2.5. From Blood Hands til the finale(Which the final track is definitely their most solid effort) its like a 3.5-4.
