Thanks man haha it took me a while to write it all out like I wanted and not make it sound too cheesy

If the instrumentation on this album strived to be anything other than just quiet noise for Campbell to sing over this would undoubtedly be my favorite release this year. As is, its still amazing.

I think its better as it is, he doesn't need massive climaxes in his music or solos or anything to make an impact

I don't want that either, its just the guitar chords and structures on every song here are too similar. Like, the only thing giving this record any life instrumentally is Mike Kennedy's lively drums

amazing review and amazing album... I had no clue that this was even coming out or in the works. This is literally the perfect album for me. Huge Wonder Years fan and also love more folky, acousticy, darker type stuff such as bright eyes.

"I drank my last paycheck dry/And outside, a homeless man asks me for change and I/Look him straight in his eyes/He starts to apologise/Tells me god's got a plan for me and that it'll be alright/I didn't know that I looked that pathetic"

Great line.

This is actually the most emotional I've gotten from an album ever (I think).
