It's a good sign when I have a Mastodon hook stuck in my head all day. This album isn't "br00tal" but it's one of the better hard rock albums I've heard in a long time.

Tracks like Ember City and Halloween are hard to get out of your head.

It's a fun metal release and it successfully avoids that shitty commercial touch in the sound, so that's the main reason why people like it I guess.
