What a waste of time that I will never get back.

I think a total of 3, MAYBE 4 songs weren't complete shit.

Well that's what LP is, catchy Radiohead/RATM wannabes.

Mike Shinoda is pretty good though. He has his songs, I really wish he'd bring back Fort Minor. Chester was quite decent in Dead by Sunrise.

Funny how they were all better in their side projects than they are now in the same band.

Curse.

@Futures, I guess I wrote that because I have read many comparisons between Radiohead and LP, I know is the most idiotic thing and fucking pointless anyway.

I you need me to draw it for you as example: http://www.reviewrinserepeat.com/artist/linkin-park/album/a-thousand-suns/review

People always compare ATS to Kid A because of the jarring and unexpected style change. You can't deny that they both have that in common. However, Radiohead obviously handled it better and though the changes in direction were very similar, the styles of TOTALLY different. But, it's not idiotic and pointless as you think honestly.

Objectively I can find pretty much no justification in giving this a 1 tbh.

This is a terrible review. It's like you're literally trying to force faults on the album to justify a score which very clearly only serves to assist in dropping the average. The criticism is both incredibly vague and largely irrelevant (what does their age have to do with anything? That's ridiculous).

I was waiting for all of the anti-Linkin Park people to come on here and give it low scores just on principal because "it's Linkin Park and they can't possibly have made a 4/5 album." Most of the low votes are probably from people who haven't even listened to the damn album.

I've been hard on Linkin Park, and I haven't liked most of what they've done in the last decade, but this is very obviously a legitimately good album, and very likely the best they've ever recorded.

Honestly this album's average is probably going to settle around a 3.4-5-6

And I sort of agree with Alondite, though I wouldn't go so far as to say the review is terrible. There's a pretty obvious bias against the band and it pretty much gives them no chance.
