The crowd in that video is an embarrassment. It's the motherfucking almighty Spawn of Possession in front of you, you morons.

“Saw them supporting Obscura on the Omnivium tour in 2012, with Exivious and Gorod. Impossible to forget.”
Saw them on the very same tour. Was a small dream come true at the time.

What would you have them do, a circle pit? Or stand in awe, petrified, absorbing every note being performed?

Looking forward to hearing your opinion. Basically if you dismiss this style of technical death metal in general you won’t like it, but if you appreciation great songwriting this band is probably the best in the genre.

Agree with the moshing thing tbh. Take it all in properly, jumping around and generally acting like a prize douche isn’t a surefire way of showing appreciation. In fact sometimes it means you don’t get it.
Handy hint: If the band themselves aren’t doing similar, then it’s a sign you’ve fucked up.

I agree with acting like a prize douche isn't a good way to show appreciation of the band, but I still love a good mosh where everyone still looks out for one another. If the crowd is standing still the whole time, just kinda kills the vibe tbh (obviously just talking about shows where a mosh would be suitable)
