I’m good with anything under 30 but ultimately think I’ll end up with 22-25. Gone through a ‘process’ recently 😆
Proper having a nerd moment in dissecting my ratings, but then I suppose why else are we here? It’s been fun and I’m discovering the fact my taste has definitely changed over the last year or two, which is all that matters really
Anyway, one thing is for certain, Oxbow are a top top band. Serenade is incredible too, I just gave this a slight edge

this is oppressive in the way of thick fumes, Serenade is oppressive in the way of airplane turbulence. both fuck, but i find this much easier to return to (and stronger song-for-song)

It cannot be stated enough how bloody marvellous the production is on this. Raw, nasty and packs some serious punch, but strikes a dynamic balance between that oppressive atmosphere, just enough clarity and a lil’ room to breathe. It truly is perfection
