Yeah well, the director wants to make a Monsters All Out-like movie.
Atleast this movie wasn't nolan-tier, so I still have hope

If they're gonna make a sequel they should BRING BACK MOTHRA

Well if you consider the back story they had of Godzilla and the MUTOs then it might be more flexible to fit in the other monsters.

How would they make Mothra fit? They could use Battra, but mothra? IDK

Idk that's the only Godzilla movie I remember even though I think I've seen like 8 of them

I've only seen the first half-hour of the original. I never really grew up with Godzilla honestly.
Okay, I'm ready for firing squad.

None of them are considered good movies or anything except maybe the original

I know that. Aside from the original, this one is probably considered to be the only good one.

Yeah about time an actually good Godzilla movie was made. Not as good as the 2005 King Kong remake though (braces self
for beatdown from all sides)

XD Wow, that hade to come up.
I'm not that much of a King Kong person either. Granted the 2005 remake was good but I didn't enjoy it that much. I found it overblown and overlong. WAY longer than it needed to be.

Yeah everyone says that but I got caught up in the emotion of it somehow and loved all the buildup and massive scope. But
I'm a sucker for that stuff

Same here, pretty much why I loved this movie. Though I didn't feel that kind of thing in the King Kong remake.
Other amazing remakes: Dredd, and Planet of the Apes (not the Mark Wahlberg remake)

Yeah dredd and rise ruled
And fuck the Tim burton remake. And that ending lol, was ballsy though I'll give it that

It's funny because I have that movie. I've watched it before (haven't watched it in a while honestly) and I think it's enjoyable in it's own right.
Kind of the same deal with the 1998 Godzilla movie. There is some likabilty to it regardless of how bad it is in my opinion. Granted I only saw practically the last twenty or so minutes of it but still. Even bad movies have their moments (occasionally).

it would be a challenge to fit mechagodzilla in this new universe, i agree. if they did it right it would be fucking awesome tho.. gotta love mechagodzilla, its my favourite from the 'bad guys'
although imo the heisei battle between godzilla and ghidorah was the best fight in the whole franchise

Pretty sure the article they link to includes no mention of a third movie, just "another Godzilla movie". Unless I'm going crazy of course
